DIAGNOSTIC TEST

X-RAY

X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation, similar to visible light. Unlike light, however, x-rays have higher energy and can pass through most objects, including the body. Medical x-rays are used to generate images of tissues and structures inside the body.

USG

Diagnostic ultrasounds use sound waves to make pictures of the body. Ultrasound, also called sonography, shows the structures inside the body.

CT scan

A computed tomography scan is a medical imaging technique used to obtain detailed internal images of the body. The personnel that perform CT scans are called radiographers or radiology technologists.

MRI Endoscopy

The principle of endoscopic ultrasonography--introducing the transducer of an external imaging method, such as ultrasonography, in combination with an endoscope into the gastrointestinal tract for higher-resolution imaging--has also been applied to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is a procedure that lets your health care provider check the inside of your entire colon (large intestine). The procedure is done using a long, flexible tube called a colonoscope. The tube has a light and a tiny camera on one end. It is put in your rectum and moved into your colon.

Biopsy ECO Cardiogram

An echocardiogram is done with each heart biopsy to assess ventricular function and is used in conjunction with the heart biopsy to determine a treatment regimen.

Blood Test

Complete blood count (CBC). The complete blood count (CBC) is one of the most common blood tests. It is often done as part of a routine checkup.
